  I would like the featured image of a post to appear as a rectangle rather than square when displayed as a blog item – please see this url for link and attached screen shot.

  You’ll need to go to themes/dante/swift-framework/page-builder/builder/shortcodes/recent-post.php and edit line 173:

  
  $image = sf_aq_resize( $thumb_img_url, 420, 315, true, false);

  width = 420px
  height = 315px
