Hi. I’ve read similar support topic from last year – but that wasn’t to do with a simple product.
I’ve recently installed the product add-ons plugin, and it’s not working for simple products – either as a global product add-on or even a product add-on level.
The selections of whatever style – are not acknowledged, and therefore ‘required’ thinks nothing has been selected.
In Woocommerce, if the theme debug (turn off theme overrides) is selected – the plugin works, so not a plugin conflict.
Your help would be appreciated – it’s very frustrating. I’ve found the theme very solid overall, so hopefully there’s something I’m missing – to make it work.
Cheers, Peter Miller.

February 14, 2016 at 8:52 am #248934….. still waiting for a response please – as Atelier doesn’t work with Woocommerce Product add-ons plugin.
Is there a work-around i.e. function code I can add to the child theme functions.php – my client needs this functionality.
Cheers, Peter.
February 16, 2016 at 12:32 pm #249542Hi,
What product is this setup for, could you send me the link to one or create a draft test product?
What is specifically failing on the front-end? Is nothing showing? I’m certain I have seen other customers using this without issue.
Thanks,
David.February 18, 2016 at 11:08 pm #250539My client and I have waited days for a response – and you haven’t tested….
So here’s a specific example product: http://killermiller.com.au/themarketbunch/product/copenhague/ price $220, with a product add-on of $20 via checkbox.
I’ve tested without any other plugins than woocommerce and the product add-ons, and it doesn’t work i.e. when you add to cart – instead of being $240, it still is $220 because it IGNORES the $20 add on for some reason.
With the Woocommerce tool to turn off the theme overrides – the product add-ons work, therefore Woothemes have also tested and advised that the theme has an issue with the plugin. 10 days ago, and I’ve been trying to get you busy support people to test and advise ever since.
Your help would be appreciated. There’s either a theme setting that conflicting, or a bug in the theme – I hope it’s the former – or there’s a work around.
Cheers, Peter Miller.

Due to the rather huge volume of various plugins available for WooCommerce, each of which having different degrees of quality and patterns unique to the respective developer it’s a little difficult to guarantee all plugins are 100% compatible with the theme other than the ones we specifically list.
If your client requires the plugin as a matter of urgency, be sure to hire a developer to work with you if you do not have the PHP knowledge and you are working to a time scale – or double check with us if we have any known issues regarding the compatibility.
– Have you quickly tested this with product ajax disabled? Theme Options => WooCommerce Options => Product Options => Add to cart ajax => Off
“Disable the add to cart AJAX for simple products on the product page. This may be required for compatibility with 3rd party plugins.“.
Best,
David.February 19, 2016 at 11:49 pm #250839Your tip was correct. Thank you.
What a pity you folk don’t get even 10 minutes to test something, and see if there’s a legitimate bug in the theme – so that it can be reported….. I therefore have no idea how you find theme bugs – except if there’s a big one, resulting in a large amount of forum feedback.
Thankfully for me turning off the Ajax add to cart – woocommerce setting, fixed my issue.Let the theme development company know that people are willing to PAY for support beyond a forum – as all this development is for commercial use, not just people playing with their hobby !
Cheers, PM.
February 22, 2016 at 2:04 pm #251159Hi
Yes the issue was because simple products do not reload the page when using AJAX, so the server would not have received information of you choosing the product add on or not. Glad the issue is sorted
