I tried to use the apppresser to be able to generate a “real” app from my wordpress site.
Swift page builder works somewhat ok, but i cant get the colums/layout to work properly.

I know that this might be out of the support you usually offer but could you please login and just take a look at: http://www.kondomappen.se/columns-2/ and check out the code to see if there is a simple fix.

You must be logged as admin in otherwise you will not see the apppresser version of the site…

Please just take a look, thanks in advance / David

Hm, to make a short description of how it works -> you install the apppresser plugin and theme (not activated).
You customize the basic look of the apppresser theme, then you use the apppresser functions to generate a native app for ios and android.

So the plugin / theme only pick up the content in the pages, it does not use the rest of the Atelier theme. If you log into the admin panel and then visit the page I linked above you will see a simulated version of the app. The shortcodes from swift page builder work but the colums/layout does not.

I contacted the apppresser support and this was the reply:

“If the page builder was bundled as a feature as part of the theme, then all of the code it generates will likely only work with your specific theme. Other users have bought the page builder outright so to be allowed use it as a plugin with any other theme and I believe they have had success with that method, so this could be something you look into.

It could be a case that the plugin is trying to load responsive CSS grids inside of our responsive grid and as a result, it gets messed up. Alternatively, if you load the page using AJAX, maybe the page builder’s shortcodes are not activating because the AJAX is not allowing the JS to load.”

    Hi,
Column layout adjust according screen size. If you view any big column content at mobile then it will adjust according screen size. Its not compulsory to display 2 column at mobile size. Its always adjust according grid responsiveness.
    Thanks
    Mohammad
