After creating a new slider, attempting to edit the slider settings, add slider layers or in most other ways results in a javascript:void(0) error, and I am not able to make necessary changes to the slider.

    Help would be absolutely appreciated.

Forgot to add, adblock is turned off, java is enabled, and tried in moth safari and chrome. I have used this slider on numerous other themes, in safari, chrome, ie and firefox and have not yet seen this issue with other themes.

    Hi,

Some other plugin of yours or the theme is loading some jquery-ui library that is interfering with the loading of the revsldier js libraries. To find out the cause of the conflict, please turn off every plugin that you have, try to run the slider. if you are still seeing errors, please change the theme to default and then run the slider. That way you will find the conflicting plugin.

Plugins should not load their libraries on other plugin pages, it is bad coding practice and not recommended by WordPress Community.

After you have found the problem plugin you can turn if off or contact it’s developer to get off the js libraries from another pages and use standard way of loading js files.

    Let me know.

    Thanks
    Tahir

    Melanie, Tahir – Thank you!

Root Relative URLs – that was it. I thought I had only installed the “recommended” plugins that the theme suggests upon installation. Is this one that automatically installs with the theme? Or maybe one that the theme recommends?

In any event, that WAS the plugin that was causing the conflict!

Thank you both so much. I greatly appreciate the stellar support, not to mention a beautifully crafted theme.

Root Relative URLs is not a plugin recommended by us, no 🙂
Cheers and glad you found it!
