  I need to make some changes to the posts timeline view called by the Blog Widget in the Page Builder.

  Specifically I want to show only the date’s month and day of the post details, remove the link to the post, and also show the value of a custom field under the date.

  I figured I need to edit the function sf_get_post_item() that is called in /cardinal/swift-framework/content/sf-blog.php

  In which file can I find this function? Can I make changes to the child theme /cardinal-child/ ?

  Hi,
  You can find the function sf_get_post_item() in /cardinal/swift-framework/content/sf-post-formats.php file. Just copy the full functions from here ,paste at functions.php of child theme and make the changes as you want.
