    Hi.
I’ve just updated my site to the latest version of WooCommerce (2.5.0) and it appears that some of my theme template files are out of date. Will you guys be fixing this in an update or do I have to perform this manually?

    Best wishes

    Steve

Ps. If I have to correct this manually is this the correct method?

Cheers for getting back to me Kyle.

I think I’ve figured out the problem. I’ve just looked at my themes and I appear to have two different Neighbourhood themes. 3.2.0 – which is currently active and 3.2.3 – which isn’t. Not sure how that’s happened?

If I just active the newer theme will that solve my problem? If so is there anything I need to watch out for when doing so (ie. It’s not going to break the site is it?).

    Speak soon!

Activate the newer version and then delete the old one

Awesome! Just done that anything looks okay. Cheers Kyle.

Just one last thing… when I updated that theme it’s now asking to update the Rev Slider plug-in to 5.1.6 (current version 4.6.0). However when I try to perform this update it tells me that action is ‘forbidden’. Any ideas?

You would need your own rev slider licence to do the automatic updates

We provide the latest version that’s available each time we send a theme update to WooCommerce

    Hi Kyle.

I looks more like a required update requested by the theme (see attached screen grab).

    Hi Steve,

The theme will query the current plugin version (installed) vs the plugin version we have made available for you to update and this is declared in the theme files.

The forbidden server error is likely a permissions issue. If you add a WP login detail we can take a look to replicate it also.

    Thanks.

    Hi David.
I’m assuming that that update v3.2.1 should have brought the Rev Slider up to 5.1.6 (as requested by the theme) (see attached screen grab)?

If this is a permissions error how do I go about fixing it? If I FTP into the site which files do I need to chmod?

    Hi Steve,

I am not 100% sure which directory is causing the permissions issue, can you check this with your host as they can see your error log. They can then advise which folder to change the permissions on.

    Thanks.
