  I’m trying to maintain a structure of permalinks that makes sense, while posting videos I’ve shot on my website. I want to maintain a portfolio that shows images of the videos, and allows people to click the images to watch the entire video on a new page. However in using the portfolio section, it randomly generates a permalink and I can’t change it at all.

  Here is an example of what I’m trying to replicate: http://khalidmohtaseb.com/

  If you click on a Nissan commercial – the permalink just becomes http://khalidmohtaseb.com/nissan

  Whereas with mine, it becomes /?portfolio=vimeo-post or /?post_type=portfolio&p=1306&preview=true

  Hi,
  There is module at apache server to rewrite the url. I think that its not enabled. Your hosting provider can enable it.

  Thank you. I submitted that. How about the two posts not showing up on the front page? There should be three portfolio items visible, and there is only one showing up. That’s a different issue.

  The rewrite module is activated. This is a problem within the theme, not with my hosting provider. Can you please assist in resolving the issue at hand?

  Thanks! One of the issues is solved. That solved the issue of renaming permalinks. The problem of only one item showing up, instead of the three posts I have is still not solved.

  Hey David!

  I’ve set an image on all three – and on the Pompeii video, I’ve set every image I possibly can. Portfolio detail, thumbnail image and featured image. It’s still not showing up on my main portfolio. Any insight on to why this is happening?
