    Hi,

When doing Seo analysis I have found a lot of images that have alt tags added are not showing up as having any alt tags in seo. All images inside the sidebar do not show alt tags even though i have verified i have added alt tags in the appropriate boxes. You can check any blog post to verify this.

Also when using dante short code for a youtube video and using an image for that option as clickable image no alt tags are visible in SEO even though the picture itself has an alt tag added by me. For example Domainname.com/chemo-brain-treatment-help-study/ has a blueberry image for the you tube video. This shows the image has no alt tags even though it does.

    Thank you

    Hi,
Dont worry any seo issue with images because you have alt tag. I think that SEO plugin is not able to detect the alt tag for these elements.
    Thanks

    Mohammad,

I am not using a plugin to see the alt tags. I have used bing webmaster tools which is telling me exactly how the search engines are reading my site. So that means the search engines are not seeing certain alt tags on every page. Also when i go and look at the source code i can verify that the alt tags are in deed NOT showing up.

I have added an attachment of all the images missing alt tags.

    Thanks again

    Hi,
Please go to the page and view source the page (CTRL+U). Now manually check the alt check for images.
    Thanks

    Mohammad,

I already did that a long time ago and that is why i am bringing it to your attention. The picture i sent you of all the images without alt tags have been all already verified in the source code. Source code does NOT show those alt tags that should be there.

    Thanks

    Hi,

For you sidebar images, how have you inserted those? You need to find that HTML and manually add the alt text.

The images in the post, please click the text tab in the editor (Classic mode), locate that image and add the alt text.

The footer image is likely either within a widget or the theme options, depending on how you have that setup, again locate that image HTML and add the alt text.

    Thanks.
