In the site depends the language you choose you get translated content. Well happens that in Homepage half way down were the top rated, bestsellers… the little image on the side in Spanish is distorted.
Same happens with blog thumbnails, what can be the issue? How can I sort this?
Thanks in advance!
December 10, 2015 at 11:16 am #234494Hi,
Could you install and run this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/.
Thanks.
December 10, 2015 at 11:33 am #234513Hi David,
Thanks for your tip, but still same situation…
Any other thoughts?
December 11, 2015 at 11:49 am #234851Hi,
Is this the image your refer to (see attached screenshot)? Have you tried clearing your browser cache, for me it does not look distorted.
What device/browser are you viewing this on?
Thanks.

I think this could be caused by a 3rd party plugin, can you add a WP login for me so I can check your setup.
Please also deactivate all plugins, leaving only WooCOmmerce & WPML active.
Thanks.

What are you using to add the extra tracking code to image outputs? Ex:
<img itemprop="image" src="http://www.twinrules.com/wp-content/uploads/70x70xGT-T-0080-w-cami-azul-tribl-antes.jpg.pagespeed.ic.QH6cdfmRW0.webp" width="70" height="70" alt="GT-T-0080-w-cami-azul-tribl-antes" pagespeed_url_hash="732519715" data-pagespeed-onload="pagespeed.CriticalImages.checkImageForCriticality(this);" onload="var elem=this;if (this==window) elem=document.body;elem.setAttribute('data-pagespeed-loaded', 1)" data-pagespeed-loaded="1">
Thanks.
December 16, 2015 at 7:32 pm #236046I have mod_pagespeed but that has nothing to do with it, its not wordpress related and it does not affect Spanish so why affects english!?
Is a very odd situation.

December 17, 2015 at 6:46 pm #236344Hi,
Whilst we troubleshoot this, please deactivate that also.
I wonder if it’s related to this plugin: WPML Media.
Can you also log a ticket on the WPML support forum so they can investigate this.
Thanks.
December 18, 2015 at 11:19 am #236463I have disabled pagespeed.
Lets hope we find it.
December 21, 2015 at 11:21 am #236785Hi,
Did you contact WPML support and test with/without WPML Media plugin? I am almost certain that plugin is changing the output dimensions.
Thanks.
December 24, 2015 at 8:04 am #237327I got a reply!
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/image-distorted-in-some-places-perhaps-due-to-wpml-media/
Have a look they discover the reason and its related with theme.
December 29, 2015 at 10:54 am #237481Hi,
Ok, I understand that so we can certainly test the patch they recommend. Can you please add your FTP details?
They are recommending opening the file:
/wp-content/themes/neighborhood/includes/plugins/aq_resizer-1x.php
and after the start of the function, below the debug line adding:/* WPML Fix for Image issue in Different domain per language */ if ( defined( 'ICL_SITEPRESS_VERSION' )){ global $sitepress; $url = $sitepress->convert_url($url,$sitepress->get_default_language()); } /* WPML Fix for Image issue in Different domain per language */
Thanks.
