    Hi,

I updated to the latest theme and wordpress versions just now, and the site (a LIVE ecommerce site!) crashed. I noticed that I could go to some pages (by typing in the URL) but the CSS was non-existent.

I saw that WP was saying ‘child theme broken, cannot find parent theme’ (or something like that). I hadn’t changed anything in the css files so not sure what to do.

    HELP PLEASSSSSSE

Check the folder name, it is NEIGborhood and not NEIGHborhood.

Rename the folder and you will be OK.

Thanks for that. Done and fixed. Maybe time to setup a staging site for updates…

    Cheers

Thanks @4boards. Please test all updates for both themes and plugins on a staging site first.

    Thanks.

Do you have a step by step process on how to fix this issue? I see they resolved it above, but unsure how to make that change. Running into the same problem after an update.

@venturecreations, do you have a notice to re-update? If so run that and it will handle it. If not, please start a new thread so you can privately add your WP login URL and FTP details.

    Thanks.

If its just a simple folder edit in FTP, I should have a problem doing that if you would be able to let me know the path of what to change?

    Hi,

You should need to re-name the theme folder to the correct spelling: neighborhood

    Thanks.
