I know this have been asked before and I have viewed the previous threads and this tip too: http://www.swiftideas.com/knowledgebase/product-image-quality/
But I just cant get the images sharp, specifically the main product image. The category/catalog images are decent but
I wish the images could be as sharp as when I use the Swift Page Builder. That’s perfection on desktop and mobile. Here are my numbers
Catalog Images 524 x 524 (ok quality)
Single Product Image 547 x 547So I have tried uploading an exact size image (547px) but that was bad so doubling the uploaded image size to 1094px works better but it’s still not crisp.
Is there something that I’m missing here?
Thanks!
December 9, 2015 at 11:49 am #234154What is your URL?
Can you please ensure you are regenerating your images after changing size? Install and run this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-thumbnail-rebuild/
Thanks.

Rename and re-uploading should do the job, right?
December 10, 2015 at 10:41 am #234473For some reason it is losing quality even though when you open the image in a separate tab the quality is fine. Not sure what’s causing it to blur slightly, will have to forward this to the developer for you

I think the only way to get it more crisp would be to increase its quality at the expense of load time, have you tested create a high DPI image, 300dpi then use that?
If you look at the code, you will see the output is displaying the best image it can for the screen/content size:
<img width="1094" height="1094" src="http://www.limeresumes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/test-img7.jpg" class="attachment-full size-full" alt="alt" srcset="http://www.limeresumes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/test-img7-265x265.jpg 265w, http://www.limeresumes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/test-img7-547x547.jpg 547w, http://www.limeresumes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/test-img7-150x150.jpg 150w, http://www.limeresumes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/test-img7-524x524.jpg 524w, http://www.limeresumes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/test-img7-250x250.jpg 250w, http://www.limeresumes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/test-img7.jpg 1094w" sizes="(max-width: 1094px) 100vw, 1094px">
Thanks,
David.December 15, 2015 at 11:35 am #235533Nope doesn’t work! This is the only place where the images doesn’t show clear. Page builder images are clear, so is if I add the image to the text block.
This what I have on WooCommerce/Settings/Display:
Catalog Images
524 × 524Single Product Image
547 × 547Product Thumbnails
150 x 150and the image that I’m uploading is 1094px. I don’t know if these numbers matter under Setting/Media:
Thumbnail size
150 x 150Medium size
547 x 547Large size
1094 x 1094The thumbnails are extremely blurry. I don’t know what to do any more, I have tried everything.
December 17, 2015 at 11:28 am #236145Hi,
Each time you change the settings you must use the above plugin to regenerate the thumbnails.
Please send me a link to the exact page you are referring to for the blurry images.
Thanks.
November 13, 2016 at 11:36 am #301656@Wonder I just saw your post and I think the setup on the product pages looks nice e.g.resume template 39.
What plugin do you use for the zoom effect on the product image?
How did you put more text under the thumbnail images the text beginning with “Microsoft Word Resume Template”?
I hope you will reply.
Best regards
MortenNovember 14, 2016 at 5:48 pm #301852Morten you simply enable and use the Page Builder in the product content area for the extra content. The zoom is a default supplied with the theme.
