    Hi there,

    We cant get Open Graph Meta Data working. We are using SEO Ultimate and have added title, description and image for a certain page, but nothing is working when we add the link into Facebook. It shows the logo and a totally different description. We also tried to use WordPress SEO plugin, but that didn’t work either.

    Even when we add a general image, title and description it don’t show up when pasting the http://www.habitataarhus.dk/fotokonkurrence/ into Facebook.

    It’s like something is blocking the information.

    What can cause this?

    Hi,

    This information should be automatically detected without a plugin, can you check this is enabled: Theme Options => Meta Options => Disable Social Meta Tags.

    I have tried to both disable and enable what you are asking for. It doesn’t make any difference.

    Hi,
    There are three plugins that are adding facebook meta tags at your page. You need to deactivate the Simple Facebook Plugin and WP Foto Vote. I tried to deactivate the plugin and got the fatal error. I need your FTP login detail.

    You have deactivated the plugin successfully – but you can’t just deactivate a plugin like wp-vote – it’s the core if the whole site!?

    I disabled social share from theme (action in child theme functions php) – and now all works?

    Hi,

    In that case there were likely to many duplicates OG tags (combination of plugins and default theme) which caused the error.
