  I do not like the masonry gallery, but I do not see any settings to change it to a standard, or grid style.

  I looked under all the Cardinal Theme and Swift Settings, I also used the search function there. I also tried the settings on the media/images themselves. I did many searches in the forums, but no one seems to have this issue.

  If there is no way to change the gallery via theme settings, can I do so with css?

  Thanks… if I am stuck with masonry gallery only are there any settings at all, for 3, 4 or 5 row columns? Sometimes I only get 2.

  .masonry-gallery .gallery-image figure {
    max-height: 300px;
  }

  Thanks, that didn’t change the staggered/mason effect.

  Is it correct that there is no option to change this in any settings? What is the name of the theme page that controls the layout? Maybe I can hard code them as squares and set the overflow to hidden?

  No there is no grid layout available, only masonry. It may be doable with custom css but as it uses isotope for the masonry it may be difficult to do. Let us know if you manage it
