Hi, the language of my website is set in Italian, but some words/phrases are still in English:

    Homepage:
    — VIEW ALL PRODUCTS
    — VIEW ALL ARTICLES

    Cart button:
    — View cart

    Cart page:
    — Cart
    — Update Cart

    Checkout page:
    — Shipping

    Account page:
    — Hello ****** ****** (not ****** ******? Sign out). From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses and edit your password and account details.

Please let me know how I can translate these word/phrases.

    Hi,

Have you set your site language to Italian?

    To amend the translations:

    1) Download POEdit https://poedit.net/
    2) Download your language file from your ftp atelier/languages/it_IT.po
    3) Search through your strings and amend the translations. Save your file.
    4) Fuzzy strings, marked in yellow will need to be un-ticked: Edit => mark as fuzzy
    4) When finished, click File => Compile to MO.
    5) Upload your new language files BOTH it_IT.po and it_IT.mo to the folder atelier/languages/

If you encounter any issues, please add a WP login and your FTP details.

    Thanks,
    David.

I have the same problem, and it’s not as simply as edit/add the translation to the string..

Last string ready to trasnlate is:
    #: woocommerce/wishlist.php:434
msgid “Ask an estimate of costs”
    msgstr “”

After that, we find lots of strings where the source is missing. Then, it is not as easy as add the translation term:

    Example:

    line: 11848

    #~ msgid "VIEW ALL ARTICLES"
#~ msgstr "VER TODOS LOS ARTÍCULOS"

    #~ msgid "VIEW ALL PRODUCTS"
#~ msgstr "VER TODOS LOS PRODUCTOS"

    Translated without source, USELESS.

I ask you to solve this issue.

@Oriol90, you will need to add the translations.

When you have added your translations save the .po file, then also click File => Compile to MO.

Upload both new files to your /language/ folder.

    Thanks.

Maybe I did not explain it well.

I know how to add translations, how to complie .po to .mo files and how to upload the translations and I’ve already done that to change some translations, what I’m saying is that there are some terms on the .po files that can not be translated because is missing the source, the place where this translation goes.

For that I put the example of some terms, that are included on the original .po file that are not sourced, linked to anyplace, then, it do not care what translation do you do of the term because it isn’t linked to the place where it should appear.

There are several of this terms, but specifically the one that says: ~ msgid “VIEW ALL PRODUCTS”, phrase that is placed on the homepage to show woocommerce products is lacking of this problem.

    Please read again, test it.

    Waiting for a solution.

    Hi,

Now I understand you, thanks for clarifying.

I’ll run this by our developer to see what we can do, it maybe the case that we can regenerate a .po file for you.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

These translations have been moved from the theme files into the plugin Swift Framework.

The directory for this is: plugins/swift-framework/languages

Please download the US language file: swift-framework-plugin-en_US.po, change the name to swift-framework-plugin-it_IT.po then follow these instructions:

    1) Download POEdit https://poedit.net/
    2) Download your language file from your ftp plugins/swift-framework/languages/it_IT.po
    3) Search through your strings and amend the translations. Save your file.
    4) Fuzzy strings, marked in yellow will need to be un-ticked: Edit => mark as fuzzy
    4) When finished, click File => Compile to MO.
    5) Upload your new language files BOTH swift-framework-plugin-it_IT.po and swift-framework-plugin-it_IT.mo to the folder plugins/swift-framework/languages

    Thanks.

    Hi @danielgandolfi,

The information is supplied above. You will also need to add any missing translations.

    To amend the theme translations:

    1) Download POEdit https://poedit.net/
    2) Download your language file from your ftp atelier/languages/pt_BR.po
    3) Search through your strings and amend the translations. Save your file.
    4) Fuzzy strings, marked in yellow will need to be un-ticked: Edit => mark as fuzzy
    4) When finished, click File => Compile to MO.
    5) Upload your new language files BOTH pt_BR.po and pt_BR.mo to the folder atelier/languages/

To amend the plugin translations, follow this:

    Hi,

Are you sure the FTP are correct? The only theme I see there is one called Bridge? I do not see Atelier?

    Thanks
