    Hi there,

    I was working at a (random) page and all of the sudden some content disappeared aswell as my custom CSS, styling elements and my menu…

    Can’t figure out why and didn’t update anything and there are no updates available.

    HELP! 😮

    Hi,

    This would not be a theme issue as such, more related to your hosting environment.

    What page has lost content? You can likely move the page revision back to the last and re-save the post.

    Can you list the steps you were doing before the content was lost, what specific content was lost also?

    Have you recently installed any plugins?

    Hi David,

    Content on all pages was lost. From custom logo, text, menu to my custom wp-admin loginscreen logo (it’s back to Cardinal again). Also some main settings have reset and even the line ‘Contact us on 0800 123 4567 or [email protected]’ has returned. It seems the whole template just has been reset for 50%…

    It almost seems like I pressed the button ‘recover all’ in theme options… But I think there should be a big warning that notifys me before this happens?

    Page revissions don’t work, the problem stays the same. I already asked my host to put on a back-up from 2 days ago.

    Hi,

    Resetting the theme options will do that, your best option (as you mentioed) is to get your host to restore the backup.
