    Hi all,

    I’m desperately trying to test a video in full window size referencing an animation i’ve uploaded onto vimeo, but the video seems to be loading forever and nothing is showing up. I’ve done it before so technically speaking I should be able to solve this, but i can’t. Can someone check what i’ve done wrong, please.

    The link to the vimeo video is: https://vimeo.com/145272167 (this shows up fine in the browser)

    I’ve also created a page for testing purposes: http://www.incorporatedesign.co.uk/video/

    so the swiftslider element in question is on page named ‘Video’ and the swiftslider is called ‘Hello two’ using the slide category ‘home two’ just to be precise.

    I’ve also tried emptying the cache of the browser as well as the page to no avail. Please help.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for your quick reply. I have tried what you’ve suggested, but the vimeo video still does not play in the browser. Have tried playing it in several browsers, but no response. I only have the loading wheel turning… The link to the video is ok as it directs you to video it’s just the swiftsilder that does not want to pick it up.

    Hi

    Backgrounds can only be self hosted videos, vimeo and youtube are not supported

    Just one more question. As I was looking for an answer to this on here i came across a somewhat similar problem someone else had posted. Can you just look at this link please: http://f62.6a3.myftpupload.com/

    as i’m trying to achieve something like this. But these guys have a play button rather than being automatically played. When i upload my video to my server, will i get a play button option or is it a hack?

    Background videos simply play in the background, there are no controls. If you want a normal video player just add the vimeo video to the slide content

    It is, but you would need to use the revolution slider instead
