    Hi. I am trying to use the products element in the page builder to display categories in a carousel on the link I included above, I am happy with the display of the element on the front end but it ignored parameters I input with the page builder –

    For example I want o filter it to only show selected categories, so I input them into the provided metabox, but the widget still displays all categories, same occurs with “number of items” metabox.

    The only thing I can think of is that the categories I am using are child categories – could this be the problem or is it a universal bug?

    Just to update – I have changed the categories to parent ctegories so that isn;t the problem.

    Additionally, and important for us, the “random” parameter is not working there either

    Hi

    Most of the parameters are only for the products, when you chose categories, the options are not used. It’s on the list to improve this in the future

    Ok. Thanks for the quick reply – Can you direct me to where I could find the php files for this so that I can attempt to create a solution for now? I have found this but assume there are more related files.

    /wp-content/plugins/swift-framework/includes/page-builder/shortcodes/products.php
