    Hi – I keep getting these errors on the site due to the theme, and they are killing my server. I have updated everything appropriately and cannot fix these errors. Could you please advise what to do? It seems there may be a problem with the index file? Thank you,

    Hi,

    It seems that your server is running out of memory. You need to adjust/add you WordPress memory settings inside the wp-config.php file

    Change your WordPress memory to 128M or a maximum 256M.

    Also check the official documentation from WordPress in the link below.

    Let us know after increasing the memory if the problem exists so we can look further.

    I believe the problem is specifically here, in the index.php file, is it not?

    “Call to undefined function get_header()”

    How can I specifically fix this?

    I did increase the memory as requested.

    We don’t have any similar situation so it can also be a plugin conflict.
    Try to disable all plugins to see if the error still exist.

    What have you increased your memory size to?

    That error is not something we can replicate locally, it’s likely caused by a memory issue on your server or a 3rd party plugin.

    Thank you for your help thus far; increased memory to 128MB.

    It seems it’s the neighborhood’s index file is trying to call a header that doesn’t exist. Am I right?

    This sounds like an issue with your WordPress install – definitely not a theme issue. Try re-installing WordPress. You can also try testing with the default WordPress theme where you will see the same issue.

    Can you activate the default Twenty15 theme and check if any errors are present. I cannot replicate this error.

    Have you made any modifications to the core theme files?
    Have you tested with all plugins deactivated?
