  My whole site is affiliate links back to amazon. The catalog mode is now broken. Previously I hack used catalog mode successfully, to disable registration, checkout, cart, etc. The product types are all ‘external/affiliate’ in woo commerce product pages. This still created a button with text ‘buy now on amazon’. Today, i had to turn catalog mode OFF to get the buy button to come back on.

  side note… as I have now turned this catalog mode on, there is a GIANT space in between ‘you may also like’… and ‘related items’
