    Hello,

I’ve set the class of the button to smooth scroll but it is still jumping to the anchor. I cant see what I’m doing wrong.

    Hi,

Please change the link from: http://www.lymeterrace.com/our-story/#opening to this /#opening.

    Cheers,
    David.

    Hello David,

Im sorry I don’t understand. Adding that to the button link links back to the homepage?

I just want it to scroll to the next row on the our-story page.

Looks like I left in the slash /#opening – should just be #opening.

    Cheers

Please check, I have made an edit within the page.

The button page builder element you used applies the class to the button parent div, not the actual button link – hence it not working.

You need to copy the HTML output into a text block and add it to the “Visual” tab. Take a look anyhow & let me know.

    Hi David,

Great thank you. Couple of questions. How come this is still styled like a button but in the builder its just a text block with no styling?

Secondly, on the smooth scroll, there is a gap at the top of the page I would like to get rid of. Ive come across this a few times and thought it might be something to do with the margins when sticky headers are enabled, but this gap is smaller than the header.

    Hello Daivd,

Sorted the issue with the buttons, I made them shortcodes instead and everything is cool.

The margins at the top of the pages when the scroll arrives at the anchor is still an issue. If you could give me some further advice on this it would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
Please go to Admin -> Theme Options -> Header Options -> Sticky header resizing -> Just disabled it and update options.
    Thanks
    Mohammad
