    Hi, trying to figure out how to add the author name underneath the date in the masonry view of the blog. I was able to do this no problem for the posts carousel by editing the post-date span (line 198) in posts-carousel.php in \includes\page-builder\composer\lib\shortcodes as follows:
    $items .= '<span class="post-date">'.$post_date.'<br>Posted by: '.$post_author.'</span>';

    I looked in blog.php and a few other files, but could not find the equivalent span for the masonry blog theme. What file should I look in?

    The blog file is \includes\page-builder\composer\lib\shortcodes\blog.php

    You can edit that file and customize the author info as you need.

    Thank you! I looked in the blog.php file, and I believe the relevant section is BLOG ITEM OUTPUT from lines 163-177. However, unlike with the posts-carousel or recent-posts files, the only reference to post details I can find is “$show_details.” However, it’s unclear how to edit the output of that pointer. Any ideas?

    Hi!

    This sure is possible, but I’m afraid it’s not built into the theme and would have to be modified especially for you. We’d love to help you with this customization but we are only able to provide support for basic theme issues and bug fixes. We do provide support for small customizations but unfortunately this request is beyond that. Please see our general policy and guidelines for more info. You could also hire a developer to help you with your customizations.

    Maybe you should also be checking general webdevelopment forums as we cannot really cover webdev tutorials in the theme support forum.

    Thank you for understanding!
    Cheers!
