    Hello again!

Are there any chance of adding support for the SearchWP plugin?

    Home

It is a very powerful search addon, which lets admins prioritize search results and shows statistics for site searches.

I would really love to see this plugin working without adding any custom code. I can already see it does not work with Atelier theme by default ๐Ÿ™

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

Can you let us know what doesn’t work? I’d imagine this is mostly backend changes that wouldn’t be affected by Atelier.

I keep getting zero results. I’ve tried both the WooCommerce Integration extension and the manual instructions.

My main purpose using this plugin is to add custom fields to searches and also use search weight (relevance), so the search results would improve a lot.

I assume the support here does not cover third party plugins, but if you want I can send you a copy of the plugin if you want to test it with Atelier ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you can provide the plugin zip file, we’ll do our best to take a look and see if we can find the issue.

    Thanks,

Speaking of search, I would love to see a search option for the Header search where the search form is already “open”.

It’s more or less standard for ecommerce stores:
    https://www.amazon.com/
    http://www.ebay.com/
    http://www.walmart.com/
    http://nelly.com/

It would also be nice to have a search icon in mobile view, next to the cart.

Just some ideas and improvements ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for the suggestion – like the idea. Will see if we can come up with a viable solution.
