    Hello,

    I need your help for my Portfolio. I’ve found a trick but maybe you have a better solution:
    On my homepage, I’ve integrated Portfolio showcase with 5 images (my 5 recent projects). I want as title for each thumbail each company name.
    Then, in my menu, if you click on Realisations, you have as Portfolio all the projects I’ve worked on. When you make a hover on each thumbnail, you see the company brand AND the type of work i’ve done for them, I’ve used the field Portfolio meta / subtitle.

    My problem : the logic is to create one portfolio asset per project and use the Thumbnail image option to display 5 of them on the homepage. I tried this but on the homepage, the subtitle is also displayed and I don’t want it on the homepage.
    So I’ve created 5 portfolio asset for the homepage, then all the projects (so yes I have kind of dupes). And the issue now is when you go on the last thumbnail in Realisation page, you continue to click on next and you can see my “homepage” portfolio asset, only with a black image.

    So the question is : can I display an asset without the subtitle on the homepage or can I remove the 5 last assets in the real portfolio.

    I hope I’m clear enough, tanks for your help.

    Hi,

    1) I do not see a subtitle on the homepage projects, I only see the title – is that what you mean?

    2) To hide the last 5 items on your portfolio page, please use this css:

    li.clearfix.portfolio-item.col-sm-3.gallery-item.realisations.isotope-item:nth-last-child(-n+5) {
    display: none;
}

    Hello,

    Thanks for your answer, it’s normal for the moment you can’t see the subtitle on the homepage because I’ve created 5 new items for the homepage without subtitle. To understand better, I can put the items with subtitle on the homepage, let me know.

    I’ve tried your css to hide the 5 last items in “Portfolio page” but it hides really the last 5 thumbnails (15 realisations instead of 20.) The 5 I want to hide is : click on my buddah image in “Realisations” page (the last project), you will see the project description and then use the next arrow, you will see the 5 black images, linked to my homepage “false” item.

    OK David, I’ve done the modifications.
    Here are my 2 pb now :
    – on the homepage, I’d like to remove the subtitle : keep only France Objets Trouvés on the first thumbnail and remove “Stratégie digitale, Gestion de projet, AMOA”
    – I want adifferent thumbnail on my homepage and in the “Realisation page” thumbnails. Maybe I’ve done something wrong but in the portfolio items I’ve but the homepage image in “Thumbnail options” with the link, and on the right in “Image à la Une” a different one. If you look at Chicplace example (last homepage item), I’d like the grey thing on the homepage but the pink one on my Realisations page (and I have the grey thing too), cf Print screen.

    Hi,

    1) To hide the subtitle, please use this:

    .item-info.has-subtitle span:nth-of-type(2) {
    display: none;
}

    2) Yes, using a different “Thumbnail Image” is the correct way to do it, you can then change image inside of the portfolio item using “Detail Media”.

    OK for the subtitles, they have disappeared.

    For the thumbnails, in fact, I want a thumbnail for the homepage (one size), another one (not the same size) for the Realisation index (see print screen to be sure with speak about the same page here) and then a print screen for the detailed project, I’ve used Media options for this last one.

    Additional question: do I have a choice to order the homepage thumbails differently from the Realisation page. For instance, I’d like Init 2nd on the homepage, even if it’s on 7th position in Realisation : a sorting by project importance on the homepage and sorting by date in Realisation.
