There are mainly 2 plugins that most people use: WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache – look into those, they both have minification, among other optimization features.
However, take into consideration that, the more complex a theme is, the more likely there is a chance that minification plugins fail (that is, they can’t understand complex themes and how scripts are added/handled, so it can happen that minification could break Javascript functionality).
These are to be tested first. Of course, they have plenty of other options as well, do look into them.
We haven’t tested our themes with these plugins, as several functionality they provide is server related – so we can’t vouch for something that depends on something that is not within our control (hosting environment).
