    possibly another newbie question – though trying to change the STORE page background and the meta info (which I think is where the setting is) doesnt expand – I would like to change the background of the store (to POH_STORE.jpg) in the media library, though cant see any info to do this

    any idea gurus?

    Add this to your custom css:

    .woocommerce.home #main-container {
  background-color: #111;
}

    just did that mate and it change background colour – I would like the image to be used behind the text (where slider should go) on STORE type – not the actual background colour

    any other tips?

    Ok sorry

    Just go to Theme Options > WooCommerce Options > Shop Options and set the page heading to fancy and add a background image

    Hi,

    Not sure if it’s exactly what you need but give a try in the header options in Theme options-> Woocommerce options-> Shop options
