We have had a fair bit of difficulty with the portfolio element recently. We love it and use it across multiple websites, but problems seem to occur when we try to use a large number of portfolio items.
This issue has happened before, where we’re working busily on a page with a large number of portfolio items, and all of a sudden you refresh the page and the images disappear. They are there – you can click on the link and they open in a new window (where normally they open in a lightbox), and the code for them is there, but they don’t show (they are meant to be in the big red section at the top, and then the white sections underneath). I deleted the first page I was working on after this happened and started afresh – that seemed to work until I published the page (draft worked, published didn’t). I know that the images work because I’ve used the same portfolio categories (and even the exact same page template) on other pages and they work.
I’m not sure if this is a theme issue or something else, but I’ve viewed the page on multiple computers and the issue still occurs.
