    Hi,

I’ve set a site with 2 different pages. Each page contains a column with Products (products asset) organized under Tabs. Tabs are co-related to product categories. So far so good. The thing comes up when I open the Quickview pop-up:

Based on this layout, I wonder if there’s a way to limit the quickview gallery to display only the products within a specified category or tab, instead of navigating between all the page products.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Using the “Products” asset from the page builder, you can limit the product output to your product categories. Edit the page builder item and and your categories to the “Product Categories” setting.

    Thanks.

    Hi David,

I appreciate your suggestion but is not quite what I’m after. You’ll see, if I select the “product categories” setting, I’ll have a thumbnail for each category (grouped products). I have selected “latest products” instead, because I want a grid with individual product thumbnails organized by date, just like the one I have now.

What I want to change are the settings for the POP-UP, in a way that when the user presses the QuickView button, he or she will be able to navigate between products, but ONLY within that specific tab-category where he/she started.

What’s happening now, is that the Pop-up shows EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT on the page, dismissing the tab or category where the user originally pressed the QV button.

Did I make it clearer? Any clue? Thanks again.

    Hi fello_duarte,

Unfortunately that customisation is beyond our scope of support as it is more work than a small customisation.

We only provide support for theme issues, and at times basic customisations. While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time.

We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need to make that customisation: http://www.swiftideas.com/customization/.

    Thanks,
    David.
