I have started creating a map for us to represent our reach with clients. The problem I am running into is that every pin has the same content in it rather than the content the I am inputting. The content being displayed in each pin is from the most recently added pin.

Is there something I am doing wrong here or is there a bug with the element currently? You can see what I mean by taking a look at the element on pixellabscreative.com/services.

    Thank you for your help!

In addition to that, every time I go into edit a pin, it autofills the Text feild with “Click the edit button to change the map pin detail text.” which then is displayed in the map on all of the pins. It only seems to do this on the ones that I have left blank. Is this something where I need to just add content to avoid the issue, or is it another bug?

    Thanks again for the help!

    CORRECTION:

It is pulling the data from the pin lowest in the list. So if I rearrange the list, no matter what the last pin added was, it will load the date from the bottom pin. Also, the first pin in the list seems to be unaffected by this issue.

    Hi,

Can you post a WP login so I can copy out your map shortcodes and test this further?

    Thanks,
    David.

Great, thanks – is your /wp-admin locked down?

I cannot access it, I get a 403 access denied?

    – Let me know.

    – David.

    Hi,

Thanks that is great, I am testing this now and can replicate this issue.

I’ll report this back to the team and get this fixed for a future update, I’ll investigate an interim solution for you in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    David.

    Hi,

This was cause because most of the pin’s didn’t had the geolocation coordinates that are calculated after editing the pin on the save moment.

By editing again the pins and saving the situation was solved.

Definitely there are some improvements that can be done in the code because when there is no coordinates the program try to get them again based on the address, and this is made in an asynchronous call to google and will catch the data(title, description) from the latest pin.
