Hi there migrating to a new DEV server and have all of my URL’s working for links and images, with the exception of Rev Slider and Header.

Where are these URL details found in the DB so I can edit them please.

I use Velvet Blue plugin to do the update across most and that works great except it cannot find the link to the header graphic to alter the path and nor can it do the same for links in the Rev Slider.

If i do a manual update via sql on the wp_options tables for the sidebar widget and only modify the URL, it stops the sidebars appearing with any content at all.

Also, when I import my SQL and change paths (but not the Wp-Options paths), it screws with the sidebars and they will not display on the right hand side anymore and instead move to below the main page content, like a DIV or some such is missing.

This is a DEV site moving from 1 server to another and only when I change the paths does this misalignment occur.

Any suggestions or ideas for both issue greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hey,

I believe Rev slider stores them in the revslider_slides table – Ed, can you please confirm?

What links from the header, exactly?

I’m not personally sure, I’ve assigned this to Tahir incase he has any insight on this.

Surely you can just edit the links you’ve added within the slider though?

    Hi Syndicator,

An easy way is to use the import/export settings options available in the revolution slider . You can export the file. Find/replace the img links using notepad+ or any other text editor and then import them back.

    Thanks

Thanks Tahir that’ll fix Rev Slider

Anyone else know where Pinpoint stores the header links info? I have run an update SQL query but it screws with the widgets so I have to be selective with the changes.

In the WP database, of course.

Which “header links” exactly? Are you referring to a particular menu? Or…? The link on the logo?

No, not the menu the URL for the header image logo.

IF I do a find and reaplce in SQL it kills all of the widgets for some reason, So i just want to edit 1 by 1 until i determine which one is breaking it.

The logo is using the home_url() function to link. Documentation: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/home_url
