    Hi,

    1) Editing Single-Post File to enable same layout as pages:

    I was looking through the forums to try and see if there was a way to update the default blog post template to enable blog posts on my site to have the same layout/design as a regular page does. I created this template that I would love to use for blog posts – http://allresort.com/top-10-summer-activities-park-city-ut/, but when I currently try and use this template on a new blog post, it displays like this – http://allresort.com/top-10/

    I tried editing the single-post.php file as noted here – http://www.swiftideas.com/forums/topic/increase-column-span-for-primary-blog-post-content/, but this didn’t accomplish what I was looking to do i.e. have the blog post design match the page design as in the example page above.

    2) Also, I’ve noticed that when I save a page as a template and try and apply the template to a new page, it’s not displaying correctly i.e. it displays the code and not the page builder assets and when viewing the page, the layout is not displaying properly. It’s only after I go in and mess with some of the page elements before I am able to get it to display correct. Is there an known issue right now with the page builder and saved templates? I’m running the latest version of Cardinal and the Swift Plugin.

    Thanks again for your help and awesome theme!

    Hi,

    try to use this css to adjust it.

    .single-post .content-wrap.col-sm-8.col-sm-offset-2.clearfix {
      width: 100%!important;
      margin-left: 0px!important;
      padding-left: 0px!important;
      padding-right: 0px!important;
    }

    .single-post section.page-content.clearfix.container {
      width: 100%!important;
      padding-left: 0px!important;
      padding-right: 0px!important;
    }

    At the moment we are not aware of any page builder issue.
    Can you provide us the steps to replicate it?

    Thanks Rui!

    The CSS you provided worked.

    As for the issue with the page builder, it’s when I save a page as a template and then go to apply that new template to a new page or post.

    When I click save, it doesn’t display the page builder once saved, but instead displays the raw code and if I go and try editing some of the page settings i.e. hide page title etc., it doesn’t save the changes and every time I save the page, I need to click on the button to toggle from the code view back to the swift page builder.

    There seems to be something buggy, but not sure if this can be related to something on my end or something with the swift page builder / save templates feature.

    Thanks again for your assistance.

    T-

    Hi Todd,

    Could you provide us with a login so we can take a look at your page builder issue?

    – David.
