    Hi support,

    I just installed the Dante theme and the included plugins. Three of the plugins are asking for an license key in order to update them. Where can I find them? I tried the license key of the theme itself but no luck. I can’t find any info about this in the theme documentation.

    – Visual Composer
    – Master slider
    – Layerslider

    Hi there,

    Previously we offered the update zips on our forum, but it seems this isn’t allowed by Envato. Unfortunately you will need to wait until we hear back from them, or when we next update the main theme zip on ThemeForest.

    Auto-update is only something that works if you purchase the plugin itself unfortunately.

    Hi Ed,

    How unfortunate. Any estimation on when this will be resolved? Especially considering safety this is important ofcourse. How can I keep up to date with this?

    Do you have a newsletter or another notification system to get important updates on the theme I’m using? Or do I need to look for it myself from time to time?

    Unfortunately still waiting to hear back from them.

    You will get an email notification from ThemeForest whenever we update a theme.

    I am also looking for a license for the “bundled” plugins like Layer Slider and Visual Composer for my newly purchased Cardinal Theme, particularly because the Front End editor apparently will not work unless the Visual Composer plugin license is activated.

    Hi

    That’s incorrect, the visual composer plugin works fine without a licence activated, you just can’t auto update or get support from the developers. If you want those features you will need to buy your own licence

    The latest version (5.5.0) is already included in the latest update.

    Hello,

    I came here because I am running LayerSlider 5.2. Wanting to update to the latest version, after following this thread I updated my Cardinal installation to version 2.22, but LayerSlider still reports the old version (5.2) is installed, and not the latest version (5.5.1).

    How do I update my LayerSlider to 5.5.1?

    Hi there,

    Check in Appearance > Install Plugins, you should be given the option to update there.

    I am having similar issues with my Layer Slider and would like to update it to 5.5.1 – I have gone to Install Plugins and Installed Plugins and have not seen an option to update without entering a purchase code. Could you please advise?
