    Hi,

    We see a quickview button beneath the product image which can open a modal for product by click or hover based on quickview settings.

    I am trying to use the product image itself to be used as the quickview button so that if a visitor clicks on the product thumbnail image the modal opens. How can that be achieved?

    Hi

    The quickview button should be on the product thumbnail, not below it

    However it’s not possible to have the image itself as the quickview button

    Thanks for the revert Kyle.

    Over the thumbnail also works for me. But I am not able to achieve it. How do I get it?

    Also, if the button comes on hover how will that work on mobile? We can’t hover over the product on mobile.

    If you go to the quickview settings, for the position choose ‘after item’, if that doesn’t work try ‘after title’.

    The quickview button will not be shown on mobile, in my opinion the quickview is not good for mobile experience anyway

    Thanks Kyle,

    I have tried all the settings. In all the cases the quickview button is coming either above thumbnail, after thumbnail and above Title or below all product details but never over the thumbnail as it is shown in the demo of the quickview.

    I do not want the single product page to appear. I just want the details to be viewed on the same page through Modal either on mobile or on desktop. It’s important that the user doesn’t have to navigate through too many pages.

    Please see if you can do something.

    Looks like the quickview is not available for multi masonry products, will check this with the developer when he comes online

    Thanks! Will be waiting for the revert.
    Also, please ask him about thumbnail as the button itself. I am trying to post this same question on support forum of the quickview plugin but since it’s not a purchased plugin I am not able to get the purchase code and thus not able to post.

    I have spoken to the developer about this and unfortunately it’s not possible to add the shop buttons to the multi masonry asset due to the small size not being big enough to contain all of the info + the buttons
