  Hi,

  We have been putting in captions for all our images – however for some reason these are showing on some products (when mousing over images displayed in the Lightbox gallery) and not others (see screen shots below – both images have captions, but they are only showing up for one of the products…)

  Any ideas?

  Hi,

  We also seem to be getting a related issue where the thumbnails below the displayed product image are not showing up on some pages (but they are on others) – the arrows at each end of these thumbnails for scrolling through the available images also seem to of disappeared…?

  explained in screen shot attached.

  Any help appreciated,

  Hi

  The hula sound half gold page linked below has no captions showing on the Lightbox – despite them being entered in the admin.

  The heart mugs linked below are showing only the caption which has been entered for the featured image.
  This does not change for captions entered for the other images
  http://107.6.141.74/~reikokan/product/heart-mugs/

  Any ideas?

  Hey,

  You will need to populate the Caption field for those images within the media libary.

  I have done this and tested it works for the first image on this product: http://107.6.141.74/~reikokan/product/hula-sound-half-gold/

  Notice the caption now displays at the bottom of the image.

  This seems to only display the caption from the products featured image.

  We have different captions for different images in the gallery.

  Is there no way of displaying these?
  (a different caption for each image?)

  Hi Chris,

  In the meantime I can provide you with a fix to get this working for you.

  You will want to open a file called product-image.php

  This is located in woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php

  Locate line 107 and below that add this:

  $image_meta 		= sf_get_attachment_meta( $attachment_id );
  $image_caption = '';
  if ( isset($image_meta) ) {
  	$image_caption 		= esc_attr( $image_meta['caption'] );
  }
