The filtered Portfolio Widgets are pulling in Categories that are not selected in the Portfolio Edit options.

We have items that are in multiple Categories, but when one of those categories is selected in the Portfolio Edit options, the filter brings in all categories associated with that item.

If you go to this link (http://taffydev.com.au/clients/krl/pavtom/), you’ll see that there are two Categories visible in the portfolio filter, but on the Edit Portfolio there is only one Portfolio category selected.

We do not want to see Categories that are not selected.

    Hi,

    On the page: http://taffydev.com.au/clients/krl/pavtom/

You are selecting to show all ‘portfolio’ items from the portfolio ‘category’ Pavtom Cupboard Knobs . This has a post count of 7. See screenshots.

There are 7 portfolio posts showing on the page, which is the correct output?

    Thanks,
    David.

    Hi,

I have had a further chat with the team about this to check and I’ll try and explain:

If a portfolio item is assigned to both category-1 and category-2, but in your portfolio asset you only select category-1, both categories will show in the filter because all categories assigned to the portfolio items shown on the page need to be in the filter.

    Thanks,
    David.
