    Hi,

I don’t know if this problem comes in the scope of this forum but I am facing this issue. Any pointers can be helpful.

I have created a custom post type and non hierarchical taxonomy so I could search them. But the default search is not searching for custom taxonomies and custom post types.

How can I create a URL based search to look for custom post types which belong to the custom taxonomy term ?

    Any help would be great.

    Hi,

You need to interact with the pre_get_post hook.
Check the piece of code from Remi Corson.

Include all your WordPress custom post types in search

    Hope it helps.

    Hi,

It probably didn’t work the way I wanted it to.

In the blog element of Swift Page Builder you have an option of over riding the post type. I can see my custom post type there and I can choose it. That’s something nice. But It doesn’t show the related taxonomies. If that can be worked out that will be something amazing.

Please see if that can happen.

    Hey,

We can certainly consider this for a future inclusion.

You can filter the output to certain categories only if you wanted to do that also.

    Thanks.
