    Hi there,

When I uploaded the main demo files to the website this severely decreased the speed of the website.

Is there a way I can get the loading speed back as this is very important.

    Thank you,

    Ben

    Hi,

Will need admin access to check it.
Also your url isn’t loading, probably is incorrect.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Didn’t found anything strange. Can you clear the products in trash and delete the menus you are not using?

In the speedtest result in Pingdom tools in can see that the site loaded in 5.21 seconds but lost almost 1.38 seconds making the initial connection(this time should be at least 5 times faster). This would take your site loading speed to 4 seconds what is already pretty good.

Regarding that initial 1.38 seconds check with your hosting why is taking that time to establish the initial connection.

only deleting it by hand(images, pages)
Check that initial 1.38 seconds with your hosting, that usually it’s done under 200ms

    Hello Ben,

You need to check out with Godaddy regarding hosting speed. We cannot provide you more assistance on that topic apart from advising the right things to do which our staff did in above replies. Thanks.

Yes, something could have happened. Difficult to tell now, can you use the data from the subdomain where it’s working fine?

hhumm. try to clean the extra pages you don’t need anymore.
I compared the 2 sites and the new one is also faster due to the content, in the oldest one you have a couple images with more than 100kb.

What is consistent in both sites is the time that your server takes to establish connection like I already said, without that you will be around 4.5 seconds what is good.

    Check that first row

I can forward to our head developer to get his opinion.
