  Revolution Slider is set to display the shadow, (which is shown lower on the page in the content area as an example). But, the shadow does not show up when in the ‘Slider’ position that was assigned in the page settings. Any advice?

  That allowed the shadow to display, but now a scroll bar appeared. Any quick tip to eliminate the scroll bar?
