    Hi

Is it possible to replace the Slider on the frontpage with a static image? The purpose is having grid pictures on my frontpage for marketing, and I don’t feel like using a pretty advanced plugin just for showing a static image.

Could save some loading time there as well

Let me know if this is possible or if I have to get support from the slider plugin developer instead

    Thanks!

    Hi

You can use a static image, however it’s not possible to make it full width like the revolution slider, as the ‘force full width’ functionality comes from the slider

Just add a single image page builder asset to your page

Ah of course.. Didn’t even think of that.

Are there dimensions for the columns? Full width, 3/4, 1/2, etc.? So I can use the full space.

Oh and I just tried it out previewing changes, so I didn’t have to let the users see me testing around. The image just showed up as a white box with the zoom hover effect. Can I somehow test around without having to show the changes to public?

I used to have a developer and we used a staging environment for testing, but I don’t have that guy anymore and I’m not really that technical myself.

    Full width is 1170px 🙂

You can create a private page so that only you can see it, or put your site in maintenance mode

    Hi Kyle

    Got it now!

When I add a link to the static image, it’ll activate lightbox hover effect. Can I somehow remove this? So there’s still a link but no hover effect.

    Hi

You can disable it in the image options

    Fixed it:

    figure:hover > a > .overlay { display:none;

    By the way:

Is it possible to lower the width and height of the whitespace between images?

The width is 1170 and the white space when using ½-½ column is 30px. Is it possible to lower this?

    Hi,

Is it in the homepage? Can you provide me a screenshot?

What page URL is that for? The issue is, if you remove that spacing you will also break the design grid.
