    For the site I run on the Neighborhood theme I’m able to assign 4 “related products” to display at the bottom of the page where the related products now display on the atelier theme. Is there a way to control which products are displayed there? I didn’t like the look and feel of how the “up-sells” displayed in atelier, but was hoping I could control the 4 products that are displayed on the bottom of each product detail page.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately it’s not possible to choose them. Probably is the 4 most recent related products.

    That’s unfortunate, since the products that are displaying in the “Related Products” section really aren’t related at all.

    Okay no problem I was able to install a simple plugin that works with woocommerce that allows me to assign specific products to display in the related products section. My next question is how do I get rid of the lightbox overlay color that appears over the related products when you hover on them. It shows the product name and categories.

    You can remove it with the css below, but this way it won’t be legible to read the text.

    There’s no other options for how to display text over those images? Can they just have the same functionality as product category pages where the 2nd image flips up when hovered over?

    Just remembered this follows the product display type set in the theme options – do you have that set to something other than “Standard” ?
