    Hi,
Just wanted to check something with you before I delete….

If the media library says that the images are not attached should they be safe to delete? I ask this just in case some of the page builder assets use images or content in a way that the media library wouldn’t recognise it.

Need to do some spring cleaning, and thought it best to ask you guys first.

    Thanks

I made this mistake and deleted my logos and some images… I had backed up the folder via ftp so it was pretty easy to find the files i needed

Thanks a33. I wonder if there is a way to see which images are not actually being used.

As far as I know, no. Some unattached images are attached somewhere.

You’ll just have to go through and delete what you need you know are not used somewhere. Its takes more time but it is what it is.

Ive been down this road and had to add the images back…

    Thanks for the advice @kastyles

when it says that is attached, means that the image was attached inside the classic editor in a page/post content.

That doesn’t consider images used in page builder’s, theme options, etc.
