    Hi guys,

    I’ve having some issues regarding the loading of any new pages in my website. Basically, every time I try to open a new link for a page/post/whatever… it opens it, but then freezes for like 4 seconds (most of the content goes blank) until it finished loading and only then it displays the entire page content.

    Do you know what can possibly be originating this “bug”? This happens with all browsers / systems I’ve tried so far (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari on Windows or Mac).

    Hey there, that’s the error:
    http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/24994

    this is an error of the WordPress core files which hopefully will be fixed soon by the WP developers.

    In the meantime try downloading the file http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.min.map and place it to the folder /wp-includes/js/jquery/

    Hi again,

    Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to solve my problem… I believe it’s some thing else that’s causing that “freezing” bug. :/

    Do you have any other clue on what it might be?

    Hi there,

    Just took a look, and i’ve got a feeling it may be due to some custom code / plugin you’ve added. This doesn’t happen on our demo site at all.

    Can you try with a fresh update/re-install of Neighborhood and with no other plugins active?

    Hi,

    Apparently, All-in-One Event Calendar’s plugin by Timely was provoking this ‘freezing bug’, even though I’ve only added it to one specific page of the website. It’s kind of weird, do you have any clue on what may be causing this incompatibility?

    No idea, but I have heard that plugin causing issues before! Is there an alternative plugin you can use?

    They’ve updated the plugin, in order to correct all those bugs, including the one I’ve pointed. However, I’ve still had some issues with it, reason why I’ve chose to use another plugin: Ajax Event Calendar. So far, it works and looks pretty good (except with IE, where I’ve found some things missing)…
