I’ve noticed an issue when viewing the site on smaller mobile devices: https://wearecivil.com
The product images don’t respond to a click/tap like they do on desktop, or even on iPads.
I can still access the individual product page by clicking on the “select options” text, but obviously people will want to click on the large image first. So it could cause some issues.
Please let me know if you have a fix in place for this.
May 6, 2015 at 1:43 pm #172419Hi,
That’s strange, it’s not happening in our demo. Can you try to deactivate all plugins except Wooocommerce to discard any possible plugin conflict?
Any customization or Child theme?
Thanks
-Rui
May 6, 2015 at 1:46 pm #172421There are some minor child theme styles added, but nothing too outrageous.
I can try the plugin route on our staging site in a few.
Did you look at my specific site on mobile though, not just the demo?
May 6, 2015 at 1:52 pm #172426yes I looked at your site, then checked if it happen in our demo.
It’s Happening in mobile and also in the browser if you reduce the window size.Let us know the result of disabling the plugins, also clear the browser cache.

May 6, 2015 at 2:19 pm #172447It’s happening anywhere images are in a carousel. Seems to be a z-index issue with the arrows, but you’re right, it does not happen in the demo.
Am I missing a setting?
May 6, 2015 at 2:38 pm #172462OK looks like it was a child theme CSS fix I was trying to implement for another issue.
Here is that issue though:
When you are on mobile or shrink down your browser screen, the Related Products and You May Also Like product buttons get so shrunk down they are illegible and overlap the product images.
This also doesn’t happen on the demo. Is this another setting I need to put in place?

Just to figure out where the problem comes from.

May 6, 2015 at 3:07 pm #172477It’s doing it on the staging site with the main theme activated. Staging site does not have caching enabled: http://civil.staging.wpengine.com/product/civil-defense-deck-2/
Is there not a specific setting for those buttons anywhere?
May 7, 2015 at 3:53 pm #172899Can you provide me admin access to that staging site?
Use the private reply.Thanks

May 7, 2015 at 3:57 pm #172903This is all set now. Thanks for the help.
May 7, 2015 at 3:59 pm #172904No problem. What was it?
-RuiMay 7, 2015 at 4:00 pm #172906It turned out to be some CSS in my child theme which I used for another glitch. I think I mentioned it above, the post with the screen grab.
I haven’t fixed that one yet, but there isn’t any CSS that affects it. Just out of the box it’s not displaying correctly, that’s why I was asking if there was a setting.
May 7, 2015 at 4:08 pm #172910Ok. No there isn’t.
