    Hi guys,
    Not sure if this is something you can help with. Our site is hosted with Media Temple and have been trying to get this resolved with them. Their tech guys are now saying we have a redirect loop that is caused by the theme. Website works fine on desktop, but 100% dead on mobile devices since the SSL was activated on the account.

    I’ve tried deactivating/activating all plugins and have even tried some HTTPS plugins. Plus reinstalling the SSL cert. Everything else appears to be fine. But after going back and forth with a tech guy there, he’s saying that there has to be something in the theme is causing the redirect loop. When we turn the theme off, site loads fine on mobile. Dead again when turned back on.

    I’m not tech savvy at all – so thought I would try you guys. See if you can shed any light on it. Happy to pass login details if needed.

    Is this something you’ve come across before?

    Can you provide a link so that I can take a look? Try saving permalinks again, in Settings > Permalinks.

    Honestly can’t think of anything in the theme that could cause it. We have a large amount of customers who all use SSL on our themes with no trouble at all.

    Would help if their tech support could provide a little more help than that!

    Thanks for the heads up on Permalinks. Working on front end again with desktop. Dead on mobile.

    The mystery continues. The site remains down on desktop and mobile unless I’m logged into the dashboard.

    Sorry for the post overload.

    Been onto support with them again. Soon as we change the theme, the redirect loop goes. Is there really no way this could be caused by the theme, or a plugin associated with it?

    Can anyone help?

    Seem to have gotten around the loop.
    Just for anyone else that is with Media Temple and runs into this.

    Support guy has established that the redirect loop was caused by the custom ‘coming soon’ page. When we switch maintence mode to ‘standard’ and ‘off’ the site seems to work fine.

    No clue why this is happening though – checked all the settings in the coming soon page, hadn’t really changed anything apart from the page content. Just in case anyone else runs into the problem – this might help.

    Hi guys,

    Just ran into this issue.

    I have maintenance page on and site secured by SSL. Working great until I installed WP Fastest Cache plugin today.

    I have used this plugin many times on other themes with no issues so I suspect the maintenance page on Atelier is the culprit. Problem is, I can longer access the site or admin to go in and de-activate maintenance.

    Client site about to go live in a few hours. Help!!

    ok, cancel – I managed to get access again by deleting the plugin code on the .htaccess file
