  Hi

  I’m using a child theme of the 2.12 Neighborhood theme and WordPress 4.1.3

  I’m not much of a developer nor know my way around the WordPress theme structure.

  What should I be aware of when I update both wordpress and neighborhood?

  Right now I made a backup of my .PO files so I atleast can keep my translation, when I update the theme

  Is there anything else I should do with my child theme, so the update won’t affect the appearance of my site? nor the functions.

  All of our CSS and php has been made in the child themes.
