  Hi guys,

  Sorry if this is completely off topic and if you can’t support, but I just thought I should post here as I’m guessing you would know the answer.

  I have setup my site now and want to enable credit and debt card payment options.
  Looking into it it seems the Stripe payment gateway is the best option for this. Now stripe requires a SSL certificate and I can purchase this from my hosting provider Godaddy.

  My question is, am I doing anything wrong or missing anything here?
  If I purchase Stripe and and SSL certificate would I be able to install and give the ability to use credit/debit cards on my site? Is there anything Im missing?

  If you are using https it’s advised to use the plugin below.
  https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/

  That specific question you should post it to the Stripe Gateway plugin author, but it seems that it works. Better to confirm with them.

  Hi,
  Please install plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/stripe-for-woocommerce/. You can make payment through this plugin. You dont need any customzation to use stripe now.

  Just to be clear…are you saying I should add that plugin alongside the SSL certificate from my host? or only install that plugin?

  I think once you sign up to stripe they give you a link to download their plugin directly. Wouldn’t it be better to download from them rather than an unknown developer on wordpress.org?
