This morning I updated my WP site to the latest Joyn Theme (2.06 I believe). Immediately following all I have on my site and admin is a white screen. When you choose “view source” there is nothing. When I temporarily remove Joyn and child theme Joyn (leaving the default WP theme) WP works again, but of course the Joyn theme is not there. Please help! I love your theme and builder and want to get this back up ASAP. I honestly do not know what to do. Smarter people than I, whom I have asked, say there is now a PHP error presented by this Joyn update. I’m not sure how to fix this. Thank you for your speedy response!
March 23, 2015 at 4:26 am #159656Hi,
Please follow given below steps :-1- Open to edit wp-config.php at wordpress root installation directory.
Find this code:- define( 'WP_DEBUG', false); Change to-: define( 'WP_DEBUG', true);
2- Try to increase the memory limit through any given below steps.
A- If you have access to your install and are running a version of WordPress earlier than 3.0, try the plugin
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/memory-bump/ as this is the easiest way to increase your RAM for WordPress.B. If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini
If your line shows 32M try 64M. If your line shows 64M try 128M
memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (32MB)C. If you don’t have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:
php_value memory_limit 64MD. Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
Increasing memory allocated to PHP
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);Thanks

That still broke my site. I contacted my web host and they have restored my files and databases to 3/18/2015. My site worked for me on that date. When we restored to those files today Joyn still broke the site. We deactivated Joyn and activated the default theme and were able to get to my WP dashboard. When I attempt to activate Joyn from the dashboard it will break the site. They recommended having Swift Ideas take a look and see if they can fix the issues. They said it’s definitely something going wrong with the theme somehow. I have intentionally not changed anything from the restore in hopes that you can determine and fix any issues with the theme you find. I’d really like to get this back up and running. I love your themes!!

Can’t connect with those credentials. The ftp seems to be connecting but after a while it says “connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity”
Can you double check the credentials and any specific connection setting?
Thanks-Rui

Uploaded files through FTP software but files are not uploaded completely. Files broken while uploading. That is cause to issue. Please contact at hosting provider about it.
Thanks
MohammadApril 7, 2015 at 2:51 pm #163476This is getting really, really, really old.
Half ass theme updates are becoming the norm at Swift Ideas.
