Hi, the site loads very slowly and it takes forever for the page to refresh, and also to do anything in the back-end in WP when we want to upload new content, it is also very slow. Load time 20 seconds and more.

I upgraded my hosting to allow more space, and that eliminated hosting warnings. But the page still loads way too slow. What can I do to speed it up, both for the user, and us – for loading products and content. I basically can’t do anything to add content, or modify the site as it’s too slow to work with.

I ran Yslow (yslow.org) in Chrome to evaluate the performance, and the site gets an overall D rating, with a lot of F ratings in there.

It’s becoming very frustrating, and slowing down our ability to finish the site. What can I do to get the site to lead in real time?

There is also a notification in the admin area saying…
“Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files. If you notice an issue on your site, this could be the reason. Please contact your theme developer for further assistance. You can review the System Status report for full details”

I’m eager to finish the site, but it’s taking way too long for any page to load. Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi,

Took me less than 20 seconds(about 10 seconds) to load several page, but it seems a bit slow.

Can you disable all your plugins except Woocommerce and Rev Slider and check if the speed of the page increases just to discard any plugin issue.

You can also use a cache plugin, but usually most of the speed issues are due to the hosting.

Regarding the outdated files, if you updated to Woocommerce 2.3.6 please revert to 2.3.5 until we check if it’s necessary to do something to ensure compatibility.

    Hi,
The WooCommerce version I have installed is Version 2.0.17 and is what installed with my theme install. How do I update it to Woocommerce 2.3.6.

Maybe if I do that the site will be faster. It’s like molasses now. I can’t do much as the site is so slow. How would I go about upgrading to your recommended Woocommerce 2.3.6 ?

    Thank you.

Thank you, I have reverted back to WooCommerce 2.3.5 and disabled many of the plugins. It helped a little, but the site still loads very slowly. I am also talking to the Hosting folks to see if it is anything on their end.

Do you have any other suggestions or recommendations?

We already launched a new Neighborhood version to be compatible with Woocommerce 2.3.6
Please update our theme and Woocommerce.

Guess the speed problem isn’t related to Woocommerce, because we and many customers without any substantial speed problems.

Check again with your hosting company.
