    Hi everyone,

    We have a website running on the Dante WordPress theme. In China, the website doesn’t load because Google Fonts is blocked. It “hangs” when loading Google Fonts via their API at fonts.googleapis.com and the website is never fully loaded.

    We want to continue using Google Fonts, what is possible solution? We found this, where they suggest to link to a mirror site of Google Fonts via Qihoo 360:

    http://chineseseoshifu.com/blog/google-fonts-instable-in-china.html

    How can this be done in the Dante theme?

    Hi,
    Please use mirror code at Admin -> Theme Options -> Custom CSS / JS -> Custom JS -:

    <link href=’http://fonts.useso.com/css?family=Open+Sans&#8217; rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’>

    And choose same fonts at Admin -> Theme Options -> Font Options

    Thanks
    Mohammad

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply. I added the JS code to Theme Options > Custom CSS/JS.

    But at Theme Options > Font Options there is no option to choose the Font via Qihoo 360? I can only see the Default, Standard, Google and Fontdeck options. Where can I actually choose the font is loaded via Qihoo and not Google?

    Thanks,

    Jay

    Hi,
    Please choose google fonts at fonts options and change the name of font in Qihoo 360 code same as you chosen fonts options. Example :- You choosed Opan sans in font options then you can use this code:-
    <link href=’http://fonts.useso.com/css?family=Open+Sans’ rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’>

    Hope you will get it easily.

    Thanks
    Mohammad

    Hi,

    Thanks.

    I am using Source Sans Pro and I actually added the following code to the Custom CSS/JS part:

    <link href=’http://fonts.useso.com/css?family=Source+Sans+Pro:400,200,300,600,700,900,200italic,300italic,400italic,600italic,700italic,900italic&#8217; rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’>

    But the font does not appear in the dropdown after chosen Google in the Font Options. This code now appears in the WordPress Footer Hook:

    <!–// WORDPRESS FOOTER HOOK //–>
    <div style=”display:none”>
    </div>
    <div id=”sf-option-params” data-slider-slidespeed=”6000″ data-slider-animspeed=”500″ data-slider-autoplay=”0″></div>

    <link href=’http://fonts.useso.com/css?family=Source+Sans+Pro:400,200,300,600,700,900,200italic,300italic,400italic,600italic,700italic,900italic&#8217; rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’>

    This code still appears in the WordPress Head Hook:

    <link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’open-sans-css’ href=’//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans%3A300italic%2C400italic%2C600italic%2C300%2C400%2C600&subset=latin%2Clatin-ext&ver=4.1′ type=’text/css’ media=’all’ />

    Hi there,
    I am really apologize to say. Unfortunately that is not part of the current theme functionality, and it’s not within the scope of our support to be able to provide that functionality as it is more work than a small customisation. While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time. We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need that functionality, potentially from one of the below resources:

    Thanks 🙂
    With Best Regards
