  My pingbacks are not showing in the comments on the blog. I did a search and found a thread but it was the Dante theme.

  I have it enabled in the settings. http://kastyles.co/blog/

  Also there is no notify me of a reply for the commenter. Is there a way to remedy this without adding Disqus or the like?

  Hi,

  Did you checked all you discussion settings?
  Think the theme doesn’t interfere with those options.

  I have it enabled in the settings and I tried a bulk edit and checked the allow pings.

  Are you sure? because when I disable the theme and use one of the free themes included(twenty fifteen & fourteen) my pings are there so I dont know how it can be WordPress. They are only not showing with this theme.

  I tried everything before I came here to ask.

  I installed a comment plugin and the pings show when its activated. I tried this wpDiscuz. I dont have it active at the moment so you can poke around.

  Apologize but checked with the development team and the pingbacks are not handled by the theme. You really have to use the 3rd party plugin.

  Ok, thank you. That plugin works, I just like the clean look of the theme comment set up and like the less is more approach for plugins! ha ha.

  Maybe something they could add in a future update. 🙂

  More features for blog comments would be a nice theme addition. I like the plugin also has a notify of a reply so the commenter knows Ive replied back.
