Hello.
Two things:
1) The Swift Slider settings don’t show up on my dashboard.
2) To skirt around this temporarily, I activated the Revolution slider for the top slideshow, but now that’s frozen. It won’t save settings or let me click around to change anything.
February 4, 2015 at 11:45 am #147143Hi,
In the Neighborhood Swift Slider version, there is no separated option to create slides. It’s based on the posts, and you can choose it in the page meta option.
This is an example.

You have several error in your javascript console and some files are not being loaded and could cause this situation.

February 5, 2015 at 12:35 am #147366So, then, what do I do about those errors? Where did they come from? I deactivated the woocommerce plug-in, but to give you an idea of how little I know about anything, imagine you hide a piece of candy in your hand, then present both hands to a toddler. However, when the toddler opens both hands, there’s no candy. Instead of reasoning “Oh man, he must have hidden it,” the toddler believes you’re magic. Like, REAL magic.
I am that toddler.
February 6, 2015 at 8:52 am #147748Hi,
Sorry about the feeling you have, can you check this files are present in the appropriate directory? http://take.ms/fhi3N
Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.February 6, 2015 at 10:57 am #147791I removed all of the photo files (since they were just testers anyway), then re-uploaded two of them under different names.
I haven’t touched the woo-commerce plugin yet, so I don’t have the slightest idea why there would be an error.
February 8, 2015 at 9:36 pm #148155Hi,
Even if you didn’t touch the plugin it may cause the error. Because if it creates a JavaScript error means it will affect the whole site. So I suggest you to disable the woocommerce plugin and check the console and the slider is working correctly or not.
PS: Make sure the slider is updated.
Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.February 10, 2015 at 1:35 am #148568I disabled the plugin, and the slider still isn’t working. I have version 4.6.0, the most recent is 4.6.5. I can’t even click the “manual update” button.
February 10, 2015 at 5:08 am #148583Hi,
In admin it says http://madefair.co/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.10.1/jquery-ui.min.js?ver=4.1 is not found, so it cause a js error and won’t make any js links clickable, can you try that using FTP method my replacing all the files of the slider with the new files?
Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.February 10, 2015 at 7:58 am #148591I had a friend of mine look at it and he found the error in something called “root” or whatever. It’s a plugin that allows you to run multiple WordPress sites with one account.
He took care of it and the slider works now.
February 10, 2015 at 8:00 am #148592Ok great 🙂
